Kristen started studying design at Wallace State Community College in Hanceville, AL in the summer of 2012. She graduated cum laude from Wallace State Community College in 2015 with two degrees: Associates in Science & Associates in Applied Science (Visual Communications). She then moved to Birmingham, AL and began attending The University of Alabama at Birmingham where she furthered her education in Graphic Design. She graduated cum laude with a Bachelor's of Studio Art from The University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2018. After graduation, she entered her student work in the 2019 American Advertising Federation's Addy Awards and won a Silver Addy in the cross platform category.
